![]() ![]() Maybe v2 got impossible for me to do, or it would take too much of my time to make it enticing to crack.Īs for why other talented crackers don't try it (though I'm pretty sure they have or are trying - it's in the nature of the beast), maybe they have figured out what I hinted at my comments. Protections get changed as you pointed out. If I can crack v1 it doesn't mean I can crack v2. I'm telling you guys, I've been monitoring OTOY and Redshift and their communities for a while now and there is something very mysterious about jimmyy80000, I can follow your train of thought but your conclusion doesn't necessarily follow. So IT IS really weird that no cracker touches them but Arnold, Maxwell, Autodesk products and even Nuke or Houdini (that certainly require very power machine and huge amount of time) get released like clockwork. And we all know, no matter how hard it is, crackers always crack anything with high demand. I mean there is literally no end to the demand. Now almost anyone in the CG business knows that RedShift and Octane are the most popular GPU rendering engines in the world right know. There were some messed up and buggy cracks a year ago, but no real one since it became a thing. But why do you think it is not properly cracked ever? Or why nobody uses the same method of RLM cracking for this one as well. No updated hardware, no cracking of stuff which depend on specific hardware capabilities.Ĭlick to expand. You probably know that RedShift renderer also uses the same RLM protection (picture in bottom of the post) as in Arnold and Maxwell. No work checks, no fancy upgraded hardware. In most cases this means no work checks come in. That last sentence is something most of you overlook.įor cracking, besides the know-how, you need lots of free time. The computer I got access to, doesn't have the graphics Octane needs so it refuses to run. Looking at its code, I'd say straightforward and easy to crack if you can login and use it while cracking.īut, as far as I am concerned, it will have to wait. Unless they get paid for not cracking it of course ![]() I wouldn't call it advanced cracking but it makes you wonder what those "crackers" are capable of. Nowadays they have implemented something extra on top of that but I still see only my cracks. Maxwell - vanilla RLM cracked as in Arnold. Now the free version they offer is more than enough and has made cracking it redundant. I cracked it back in 2011 and a rip made its way to a server many of you have used in the past. RenderMan - There was a keygen by a group for some very old Maya version but then the protection changed. ![]() As far as difficulty is concerned, I cracked it too when I got access to a computer that could run it. Somebody else copied that crack and used it since then. No advanced cracking required for copying.Ĭorona - Cracked by a smart Chinese guy some years ago. Every flavor of it that's out now, is based on an old ripped crack. After I stopped posting in the open, some people ripped the crack and posted it in warez. Protection was improved and cracked again over the years. VRay - I posted the first cracks of it around 2000 or so. Basically, you don't need brainpower to fix most RLM protections. The crack is still used for newer RLM versions not supported by the automated patcher. After that, the crack was used on other flavors of Arnold (by me and others) until an automated RLM patcher came out by one of the smart reversers and has been used since then for most of the programs. I posted the first crack of it in 2011 for SItoA (I think - the other forum should still have references to it). There are certainly excellent crackers that could handle Octane and most everything else, but your choice of reference programs to prove it, is bad.Įvery sample you posted is either a ripped copy or a toy (as far as cracking is concerned).Īrnold - always been vanilla RLM protection. There are too many people that can crack and you can't pay off all of them. No company would pay anybody to stop cracking. ![]() Somehow I think that the insanely smart and well-known cracker is pulling your leg ![]()

![]() ![]() But unlike “Toy Story” or “Ratatouille” or “Wall-E” or “Monsters Inc.,” the “Cars” movies have no human characters, and somehow this robs them of a crucial dimension of magic. Nearly every other Pixar fantasy, however extravagant, has been tethered to a recognizable human reality. “Cars 2” is certainly built to move merchandise - this series may surpass even the “Toy Story” films as an effective advertisement for licensed playthings - but it is notably lacking in soul or sublimity. Or maybe the company was tired of turning out one masterpiece after another and decided to coast for a while. ![]() Perhaps after the exquisite silences in “Wall-E” and “Up,” the Pixar team wanted to open up the valves, kick up some dust and make some pop culture noise, leaving the poetry to someone else. The whine of engines and the rattle of gunfire (surprisingly frequent in a G-rated film) compete with the nonstop yakking to such an extent that Michael Giacchino’s score has to strain and blare to be heard. One is a retro-cool, Bond-style sports car named Finn McMissile (Michael Caine), and the other is a sexy, Emma Peel-like coupe called Holly Shiftwell (Emily Mortimer).Įven without Mater’s nattering - or the florid Italian sing-song of John Turturro as Lightning’s European rival (compare Sacha Baron Cohen in “ Talladega Nights”) - “Cars 2” would be, by far, the loudest Pixar feature yet. These include a falling out with Lightning, an identity crisis (every animated character needs one) and an action-packed espionage caper with a couple of suave Britons. Most of “Cars 2” takes place far from Radiator Springs - in Tokyo, Paris and London - and Lightning’s racing exploits are secondary to the improbable adventures of Mater. But they (Bonnie Hunt, Cheech Marin and the Pixar stalwart John Ratzenberger, among others) are very much in the background. Lightning McQueen, the red racecar who speaks in the gee-whiz cadences of Owen Wilson, is still around, of course, as are some other residents of Radiator Springs, the Southwestern desert town surrounded by tail-fin rock formations where the first “Cars” took place. That would be Mater, the garrulous, snaggle-toothed, dimwitted tow truck voiced by Daniel Whitney, better known as Larry the Cable Guy. And while we’re at it, how come students of literature are never forced to read a book called “Sancho Panza”?Īn implicit answer might be found in “Cars 2,” which takes the bold, arguably generous and ultimately calamitous step of pushing its lovable, goofy second banana to the center of the action. And surely poor, neglected Robin is at this moment lolling around somewhere in the Bat Cave sketching lobby posters for “The Boy Wonder,” which will never make it to a theater near you. Adding to the fast-paced fun is a colorful new all-car cast that includes secret agents, menacing villains and international racing competitors. What sidekick has not dreamed of stepping into the limelight? After dinner in their split-level cave, Betty and Barney, convinced that they were the modern stone-age family, must have fantasized about pitching “ The Rubbles” to the suits at Hanna-Barbera. Torn between assisting Lightning McQueen in the high-profile race and towing the line in a top-secret spy mission, Mater’s action-packed journey leads him on an explosive chase through the streets of Japan and Europe, trailed by his friends and watched by the whole world. But the road to the championship is filled with plenty of potholes, detours and hilarious surprises when Mater gets caught up in an intriguing adventure of his own: international espionage. Star racecar Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) and the incomparable tow truck Mater (voice of Larry the Cable Guy) take their friendship to exciting new places in “Cars 2″ when they head overseas to compete in the first-ever World Grand Prix to determine the world’s fastest car. It opens in 3D June 24th.Ĭlick over to Apple to see the trailer in HD. Cars 2 also features the voice talent of Emily Mortimer, Jason Isaacs, Bruce Campbell, John Turturro, Thomas Kretschmann, and Michael Caine. Hit the jump for the synopsis and trailer. ![]() You can argue that Pixar needs this kind of widely-accessible film to give them the money to do riskier fare like Ratatouille, but Pixar made its name on not pandering to the lowest common denominator and still making crazy money. This new trailer not only has a car falling into a vat of poop, but also has an awful song to go along with it. The film follows Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) as he sets out to compete in the World Grand Prix, all while Mater (Larry the Cable Guy) gets wrapped up in some international espionage. This marks the third full-length trailer because it's not like this movie sells itself. A new trailer for Pixar’s Cars 2 has been released. ![]() |
